17 Dec Slovenia: RPPP beats the EU Commission

In a ground breaking matter in competition law, the Slovenian TLA law office Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners successfully annuls a decision by the EU Commission against Krka d.d. adopted on the basis of Article 101 of the TFEU for an alleged breach of the European rules of competition law, thereby nullifying the fine imposed by the Commission.

This was a true David vs Goliath story, where Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners achieved a massive success and brought justice to their long-term client against the European Commission. After Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners’ successful representation, the Court concluded that there was no breach of competition by Krka d.d.

Krka d.d. is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Balkans, producing and selling prescription pharmaceuticals, non-prescription products and animal health products for more than half of century.

The Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners team in the matter was lead by its head of competition, Tomaž Ilešič, assisted by Martina Sever.
