10 May Season of closings in Slovenia, highlight dynamic M&A work done by RPPP
After both deals were signed in the runner-up to the 2018 Christmas season, Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & partners is excited to be able to announce the successful closing of two major Slovenian deals.
The first relates to Eko Surovina, a company wholly owned by Rastoder d.o.o., and it acquisition of Gorenje’s divested company Gorenje Surovina. The acquisition of this company affords a plethora of new synergies between the two companies, ostensibly creating a true powerhouse in the waste management, specifically in the waste repackaging, industry. RPPP’s team on this matter was lead by partner Bojan Šporar.
The second relates to the sale of Elan, d.o.o. by shareholders Wiltan Enterprises Limited and Bank of America Merrill Lynch International in a three-year exit from its 2015 entry as shareholders. Elan was sold to Finnish-owned asset manager KJK. The matter was fraught with regulatory restrictions, but the matter was successfully resolved by our team, lead by senior associate Jakob Ivančič.”
